This is in memory of our son Herbie. He was born in May 2002 and tragically passed away in December 2011.
We will recount our memories, thoughts and feelings here. Hopefully it will not be all be grief and melancholy but some of the happiest moments of our shared times with him.
Every memory is precious now. Every photograph is loaded with intense feeling.
We loved him with every beat of our hearts. He loved us back more than that. I miss him more than I can bear. He doesn't feel any pain, sadness or loneliness. Clearly we are utterly devastated, but we have each other. We need each other more than ever. Hold the ones that are close to you, then hold them closer still.
